Test out the trial on a burner account and see what happens. In the end, if you plan to try this software, I would suggest not using it on your paid Spotify. Luckily I was just using the trial version. I promise you the owners are aware that this happens to people that use their software, but I doubt they make it a point to let you know before you purchase it. Even if they weren't using my account, if this app can't even download 60 songs without getting your account locked out or permanently deleted-losing your money in the process-then it's not worth using especially not worth paying for. The long delay makes me wonder if the makers of Sidify saw fit to use my account to download music in other locations as well. I only downloaded 60 songs and it was three weeks later when Spotify disabled my account. This would've been a huge loss since I still have 10 months left on a yearly subscription-not to mention all my saved music. In doing so they informed me that if I were caught again I wouldn't get my account back. They were willing to re-enable my account as a ONE TIME courtesy.

This is the only software I used so it is 100% the cause. When I contacted Spotify-thinking that the creators of Sidify had hacked my account-they informed me that it was disabled because I had been caught downloading music via a third party software.

No password reset because the account didn't even exist anymore. That is to say it completely disappeared. While this program did what it was supposed to and downloaded music, Spotify banned my account for using it. Truly disappointing and making You angry! Can only advise anyone to contact a lawyer. It's like buying a mobile phone package with unlimited data and after 2 weeks Your provider tells You "I think You have used enough, I claim this have been 3 GB and I don't wanna give You more and You can do nothing until You pay more (although You have bought unlimited)." It's like black mailing. And the trust is gone after this behaviour.
and even IF You decide to buy an extra package beside Your LIFELONG licence, the same happens again: You have to TRUST Sidify, how much You spent. But so they tell You "this was it" and You can't download anything anymore - but You have paid for!!.
So if You KNOW Your usage You could manage it by postponing some downloads into next month. Of course 5000 songs is a lot and You won*t do it any month. Sidify tells You out of the blue, "this is enough, now You have to pay an extra fee". You can't even SEE how many tracks You have downloaded. Obviously Sidify controls my USAGE of Spotify and saves it - this is against any data policy. You buy a LIFELONG licence and this is limited afterwards! What happens next? Only 500 songs a month? 50? "Lifelong" ends after 2 months? 2. If You want more You have to pay an extra fee in the amout of 1 months abo every month! 3 things that are inacceptable: 1. Out of a sudden the program stopped working and told, users are only allowed to download 5.000 songs a month. I bought a LIFELONG licence without limitations. I was happy with the program (this one and Deekeep for Deezer) - until now and I can only WARN to buy this. WARNING! Usage is controlled by Sidify and You have to pay MORE
